Medical image intensifier television system cameras are divided into camera tube camera and CCD camera.

Camera tube camera objects are mainly imaged on the target surface through the lens, and the conductance of each pixel varies with the illumination. The electron beam scans the target surface to obtain voltage signals varying with brightness. In this way, the brightness signal distributed in space becomes a voltage signal distributed in time.

The CCD consists of a series of photovoltaic cells. A photovoltaic cell generates more charges corresponding to a photovoltaic cell whose pixel is exposed to light intensity. The voltages of each photovoltaic cell are read out in a certain order when taking pictures. In this way, the brightness signal distributed in space becomes a voltage signal distributed in time.
