How the image intensifier works

Image intensifier is an important part of X-ray machine. Only through image intensifier can X-ray be converted into visible light to produce images. So what is the principle of image intensifier? Let me introduce it to you. X-rays pass through the human body after being emitted from the spherical tube. Due to the different densities of human tissues, X-rays of different intensities are projected onto the input screen of the intensifier. X-rays are converted into visible light by stimulating the cesium iodide coating in the fluorescent layer. The intensity of these visible lights is also different.

The visible light produces photoelectrons in the photoelectric layer (photocathode) due to the photoelectric effect. The photoelectrons refract and focus through the electric field interface inside the tank, and accelerate the projection to the output end through the high-voltage power supply to form an electronic image. The electronic image is converted into visible light image again through cesium iodide on the output screen, and reflected to the camera connected to the output end through the aluminum film. This is how the image intensifier works. If you need it, welcome to call! Tel: 17616362242
