Structure of image intensifier

The image intensifier is usually made into a cylindrical shape, and the internal vacuum tube contains many parts. The X-ray sensitive input fluorescent screen converts the invisible X-ray photon image into a visible light image. The visible light photons excite the photocathode to emit an electron image. The electron is accelerated by a voltage of several thousand electron volts and focused on the fluorescent output screen, thereby traveling the visible light image. The visible light image reflects the details of the ray latent image, and the brightness has been greatly enhanced. The image can be observed through a TV camera system with high sensitivity, or sent to a computer for processing and recognition through a digital collection system such as a CCD camera.
