Recently, many customers have consulted our company’s image intensifier. Image intensifier is a device that can increase the low light level image to the level that can be seen by human or detected by camera. The image intensifier consists of a vacuum tube with multiple conversion and multiplication screens.
The incident photons will impact the photocathode screen. Photons are absorbed in the photocathode and electrons are emitted into a vacuum. These electrons are accelerated by an electric field to increase their energy and focus them on the multichannel plate.
