The output screen can convert the enhanced electronic image into an image, which is composed of an output photoelectric layer and a glass layer.
The glass layer is a part of the shell of the intensifier, which is mainly the support of the output screen.
The photoelectric layer is mainly composed of fluorescent layer and aluminium film. The fluorescent layer is accelerated by the anode potential, and the photoelectron focused by the electron lens impacts on the photoelectric layer of the output screen. The electron kinetic energy excites the fluorescent material to produce visible light.
After the aluminium film is located in the fluorescent layer, the fluorescence of the output screen is prevented from reflecting to the point cathode of the input screen, and the fluorescence of the output screen is projected to the output window.
