Structure of image intensifier tube

Image intensifier is the core component of image intensifier television system.

The image intensifier tube is sealed in a vacuum glass shell by an input screen, a focusing electrode, an accelerating electrode, an output screen and an ion pump.

The input screen of the image intensifier tube is composed of spherical glazed glass, aluminium substrate, fluorescent layer, isolation layer and photocathode. He can mainly convert X-ray images into electronic images.

The electrostatic lens of image intensifier tube refers to the electric field area mainly composed of photocathode, focusing electrode, auxiliary anode and anode. It mainly focuses on the electron beam.

The output screen of image intensifier tube is mainly composed of aluminum foil, fluorescent layer and glass layer. Its main function is to convert enhanced electronic images into visible images.
