Let’s first talk about the working principle of the image intensifier: when X-ray passes through the human body, X-ray with different intensities is projected onto the input screen according to the different density of human tissue. The photocathode inside the fluorescent screen generates different amounts of photoelectrons according to the intensity of fluorescence. The photoelectrons of the photocathode are attracted by the positive potential of the anode and fly to the positive at high speed, and the photoelectrons are cast through the anode holes on the output screen, a visible image is generated, which is brighter and smaller than the previous perspective image.

The nominal entrance field size of 9” image intensifier is 230mm.It is mainly used in C-arm, multi-functional gastrointestinal machine, digital machine, lithotriptor and industrial detection X-ray machine.And It is composed of X-ray image multiplier tube, tube container, special high-voltage power supply built in tube container and low-voltage power supply driving high-voltage power supply.
