The structure of X-ray image enhancement tube is that an input conversion screen and photocathode are set in a large-caliber vacuum tube, and an electronic lens composed of a focusing electrode and an output fluorescence screen. When the X-ray image is projected on the input end surface of the enhancement tube, x photons enter the tube through the input window and are absorbed by the input conversion screen.
The energy is converted to visible photons and causes the photopole to emit electrons, which are accelerated by the electron lens and converge on the output fluorescent screen, thus forming a visible image with sufficient brightness corresponding to the input X-ray image on the output end face.
