The image intensifier consists of a shell, an intensifier vacuum tube (including an image intensifier input screen and an image intensifier output screen), a high-voltage power supply module and a high-voltage cable, and is used in conjunction with X-ray diagnostic equipment for X-ray imaging.
Among them, the output screen of the image intensifier is used to convert the enhanced electronic image into a visible light image. Its main structure is output photoelectric layer and glass layer. The glass layer is a part of the image intensifier housing and is the support of the output screen. The inner surface of the fluorescent layer is covered with a layer of aluminum foil to form the output photoelectric surface.
The output screen of the image intensifier is a flat panel. Due to the different photon path lengths, the edge part is not as clear as the center part. The output screen of the latest image intensifier is also spherical, and then the spherical surface is drawn into a flat surface with optical fiber, so that the edge and the center part have the same definition.
